Privacy Policy
What we collect when you request a quote, why we hold access credentials, and how to have your information removed.
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Jack Cleaning Service ("we", "us", "our") operates jackcleaningservice.com and provides residential and commercial cleaning services in South River, New Jersey and surrounding communities. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, telephone number, email address and the town or property address where service is requested.
- Property details — the information you provide about the property so we can quote accurately: number of rooms, floor types, pets, access arrangements and any special requirements.
- Access information — where you choose to provide it, key handling instructions, lockbox codes or alarm codes needed to perform the service.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Correspondence — messages you send us by form, email, telephone or text message, and our replies.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you view. This site does not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling. If that changes, this policy will be updated and the date at the top of this page revised.
The site embeds a Google Maps frame on some pages. Loading that frame may allow Google to collect information under its own privacy policy.
2. Why we use your information
- To prepare a quote and schedule a walkthrough.
- To deliver the cleaning service you booked, including giving the assigned crew the scope and access instructions they need.
- To contact you about your appointment, including arrival notifications and schedule changes.
- To invoice you and process payment.
- To keep records required for insurance, tax and dispute purposes.
- To respond to questions, complaints and requests.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not share it for third-party marketing.
3. Text messages and calls
If you give us a mobile number, we may contact you by call or text about your quote, your appointment and your service. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages from us, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our records or stop us contacting you by telephone or email about a booked service. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service, and mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Who we share information with
- Our cleaning crews — only the scope, address and access details needed to perform your service.
- Service providers — payment processing, scheduling software, email hosting and, where applicable, our customer relationship platform. These providers act on our instructions.
- Insurers and professional advisers — where a claim, dispute or legal obligation makes it necessary.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
5. How we protect access credentials
Keys, lockbox codes and alarm codes are held under a controlled log, associated with a named responsible person and never labelled with a property address. When a member of staff leaves, codes for properties they were assigned to are rotated and the client is notified. Please tell us immediately if you change a code so we can update our record and avoid a failed visit.
6. How long we keep information
We keep client records for as long as you remain a client and afterwards for the period required by tax, insurance and limitation rules — generally seven years for financial records. Access credentials are deleted when your service ends. Quote enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within twenty-four months.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete information we no longer need to keep, or stop contacting you for marketing purposes. Send any such request to info@jackcleaningservice.com and we will respond within thirty days.
New Jersey residents have rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, which took effect in January 2025, including the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access and correct it, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
If you are a resident of California or another state with comparable legislation, contact us and we will handle your request under the equivalent provisions of that law.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children under thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.
